Catching rays or rain

Headed out this afternoon after various tasks this morning to catch dome rays.  As Murray and I walked to the rec the sun was out though the air was chilly.  As we approached a splendid full rainbow and a partial rainbow came into view.  As we walked clouds were in the distance one a great grey mass with feathery clouds suspended like a jellyfish or as fellow dogwalker Tracy's child stated it was like northern lights except not coloured. The cloud moved over us rapidly and it began to pour. We all headed back home.
The sky morphed into an ominous sulphur yellow.
Home for hot coffee and a read.
