Moon Rise
Another mad day with not enough time to do everything that’s needed at work, so a late finish again. It’s making me tired, I come home very fuzzy headed and can’t think about anything else, and am just thankful I only work part time. I physically don’t think I could do this job full time.
Anyway, I escaped at lunch time for a quick walk round the park again, and tonight I met Alison on my way home. The plan was to go to White Cliffs Cafe to sit on their undercover outdoor terrace for a drink and a catch up, but when we got there at 6.30pm it was already closed. I thought they were open later than that. Anyway we went for a brisk walk along the Undercliff, there’s no lighting down there so it was very dark and we used the torches on our phones to light the way.
When we got back to the cars the moon was just appearing over the rooftops, it was so big and bright in the sky, it was beautiful! Sadly I didn’t have my camera with me - this is why I usually carry it, as things like this always happen when I don’t have it! But we both just stood looking at it, there’s a certain pull isn’t there? When I got home though it was just rising above the fields so I quickly got a couple of shots through the hedgerow.
Wishing all our American friends a successful outcome to the presidential election, and hoping everyone stays safe at this time of Covid and now terror attacks, what next?
Thanks for all your continued comments on my journal, I’m a very bad Blip friend at the moment, but particularly on my working days I just don’t have time to think, let alone comment or reply. I do enjoy reading your comments though and do have a quick look through at your photos. I’ll catch up as soon as I can.
