Regent Theatre Mudgee
We’re on a road trip, first stop Mudgee. It’s a wine-growing area about 4 hrs northwest of Sydney.
The Regent is closed now, but we did see at least one movie here when Mudgee was a regular weekend getaway. The theatre was notable for having an incredibly racist cartoon mural in its foyer, probably unremarkable in the 1930s but thankfully now obliterated.
The extra is a view of the soft tussocked hills on the scenic route in. They always remind me of upholstery.
We’re having dinner at a restaurant described as Chinese Fusion attached to the Woolpack Hotel. It’s fusion in the sense that the menu has an Australian meals section.
Thanks for hosting BobsBlips.
