Indian Food
A bit of an experiment this one: a recipe from the classic 'Madhur Jaffray's Indian Cooking' book, with the rather unappetising name of 'hard boiled eggs cooked with potatoes'. I chose it because as I was leafing through the book I saw that we had all the ingredients - often the way I choose recipes! It does also have garlic, ginger, onions, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, ground coriander seeds and fresh coriander, yoghurt and garam masala. And a teaspoonful of flour....which I almost forgot - I think because I had to nip out mid-recipe to buy coriander. I'd thought I'd just make it without the coriander, then changed my mind. It certainly smells lovely and so fingers crossed for dinner tonight. We might walk the 20' to our local Indian and buy naan breads - I like a little focus to our evening walks.
Wildwood - if you look in here, was the name of the book you recommended before called '5 Spices, 50 Dishes'?
A wet and dull day here today, after a run of beautiful sunny days.
No news from across the Atlantic yet.
Housework now I suppose. I still haven't really tried out the new hoover!
