A Jasper half geode. I have always loved this.
Many years ago when large house sales were fairly common place we used to go to the viewings. Mum just wanted to look at the massive houses which were rapidly coming redundant in society. Dad loved antiques and dabbled in this as a hobby for many years before turning his passion into his job.
This was found by my brother in a box full of green and white kitchen wear. He persuaded Dad to buy it and i think it was probably one of his favourite possessions.
It’s nearly 5 years since he passed away and I took ownership. It sits on the coffee table and I love the colouring and texture.
