Sand art

A friend makes and sells these sand art kits and we were lucky enough to be asked to trial them.

The kids set to work on them with much gusto. Jacob did his clown picture pretty independently.

Oliver did his spaceship with a little help. I picked the paper off to reveal the sticky area, Oliver sprinkles the sand colour he wanted.

It kept the kids amused for ages and I enjoyed it too. I think there should be adult versions that are more intricate. I know I'd enjoy it!
