Getting messy

Today the kids and I attempted making chocolate apples.

We (I) melted milk chocolate in a glass dish over a pan, we used metal straws to skewer the apples (less sharp than a skewer which is important when it comes to a 4 and 6 year old)!

Both kids dipped their apples in the melted chocolate, then rolled them in sprinkles, then left the chocolate to set.

After much asking if the apples were ready yet, they were happily devoured after tea.

Such an easy Halloween craft. I will definitely do it again next year.
