Freedom!

Freya the rescue hen has entered the big wide world! She has been peeking out of the doorway every day, and this morning she decided to emerge! She was quite wobbly climbing down the ramp, but then had a great time exploring and pecking at bits and pieces on the ground. She is the bravest of the group, the others are not sure at all and didn’t want to venture out today. One of them doesn’t seem to be very strong but she is eating and drinking so I hope she will gather strength soon.

We also ventured out today for what may be the last outing for a while. Decided to go to the Champion Trees at Stagshaw Gardens.(see extra) I love to be there, trying to hug them but they are just too big! The Wellingtonia was warm and soft to touch in the Autumn sunshine. So tranquil.
