2020 Wednesday — in the Shadow

In the shadow of the rock, Morro Rock . . . The reflection in the water today was stunning as we walked alongside the back bay. So many reflections — everywhere. The dark straight shadow of the mast of each sailboat, the poles on the dock, and the Rock. When we go to the back bay most every afternoon, it is a quiet interlude from the chaos going on in all the rest of the world.

It seems as though someone has drank all the sweetness right out of our now. So I breathe in and breathe out and whisper words into a prayer that God would save this nation; that He would bless this nation one more time so that this nation might be a blessing to Him.
