Diary of an Edinburgher

Angus!

Watched CNN and the continuing US Election coverage this morning. Their graphics of the whole country and each state’s numbers are amazing, and I even quite enjoy the adverts. The mute button is deployed for every shouty, repetitive advert on our TV channels.

JR went off to Morningside on a mission, Archie and I were to meet her later on the Links, which we did. Archie is great, I just need to tell him to look out for JR, and he’s focussed, peering here and there into the distance, ignoring any dogs going past.

We then made our way across the Links, while JR went home to deposit a bag of stuff, and then meet us again.

Archie and I then met Angus the schnauzer, who had just been to the groomer. He’s a lovely boy, they’ve met lots, and they get on fine - now that Angus has been fixed (but check out the Extra). We have these schnauzers within a block of us: Hamish, Angus, Pretzel, Bert, Brian and Kaiser. Unfortunately, four of them are moving house.

We met up with JR and shared a wrap in Kauai. Archie is never very relaxed, and can’t wait to leave any pub or cafe, and so when we make a move, it has to be done quickly, because he starts yapping and crying and nipping at our heels. We cause quite a scene if we’re not really fast.

Another gorgeous sunny evening walking home. (6,050 steps)
