Sunset Bonfire night

This was my view from the cliffs as I walked around the block this evening. The beautiful clear sky was a treat and the sun cast a warm glow over everything.
Bonfire night is not a great event for us, Mr Casper is quaking in his boots even with music playing. The other dogs do not mind and have been in and out of the garden as the fireworks go off. There are apparently 100 private and public firework parties this evening locally, so a noisy night ahead.

Our son is presently with his Emus hoping to keep them calm whilst the fireworks around them is a little like a war zone. A few evenings ago someone let off some fireworks with no notice and George again threw himself at the fence, hurting his neck.

Our son has found that music and noise of the truck's diesel engine seems to keep a constant noise which make the loud bangs less noticeable. The two adult emus are watching very carefully over their young one, staying very close to her side.
Only a few more days and hopefully the fireworks will be finished.

Hoping and praying that there will be some good news from the US
