you have no idea how many memories this store contains. this is my childhood. this is everything good and pure and beautiful to me. i used to walk up here to buy candy and ice cream. one time i had to walk here to buy medicine when our whole family got the stomach flu. i even stole from here once (im not proud of it). this is my childhood. most things from this neighborhood have changed and moved on. but this store has not. it is reminder. oh its so good.

today after work was beautiful, for any number of reasons. but especially because i talked to a friend of mine. it was such an encouragement and blessing to speak to him. oh how he has grown and changed and wants what is good and right. it makes me so excited about life. and makes me believe so much in the power of god to move in lives, even when we cant through our own words. prayer. so happy. so encouraged.
