A wonderful flower

This little succulent from Trader Joe's was acquired specifically so that I could photograph the incredible flowers. I think it is an echevarria, but the plant is in a roughish shape and I am just guessing. I am hoping to give the plant a chance.

Today, I was reminded by a student who lived thru a rough time in another country of how lucky we are and how much we take for granted on a daily basis, including personal safety and freedom of speech. I am grateful for yet another day, food, housing, water, and safety.
