Bali Ha'i

Today's the day …………………………. to get carried away

There was something about this view that made me think it could easily have been the South Pacific out there - and that this was the island of Bali Ha'i.

It wasn't of course, it was the Solway Firth and Ardwall Isle, one of the three Islands of Fleet, just off the coast southwest of Gatehouse-of-Fleet.

But who cares?  It was absolutely beautiful out there as the sun slowly sank below the horizon …………………...
