sitting on the fence

Not much of that in the US, people seem to be deeply divided one side or the other.
This pleasant fella was in our garden, they normally seek refuge from the shoots held at Kedleston, but those are cancelled I guess. He strutted around awhile before jumping onto the fence and then off to say hello next door.
I was left doing more gardening and bemoaning the fact that the filled garden waste bin hasn't been emptied this week so I also had to visit the tip to get rid of todays mess. The next garden bin service is the last of the year so more trips to the tip are inevitable (at least they are open this time)
