Friday: Beautiful Morning ...

... & a beautiful day!
Sun shining, blue sky and warm in the sunshine ... wearing 2 fleeces!
Whilst I was making my breakfast this morning and looking out through the kitchen window, saw a solitary goldfinch feeding on the teasels, movement in the tree ... another one arrives, then another ... finally there were 4, recycling lorry on our road and too much noise, all the goldfinch flew off BUT later spotted feeding happily on sunflower seeds in the bird feeders!
MrD on deliveries again.
Sat in the sunshine for an hour peeling another kilo of pickling onions - fresh air avoids runny eyes! Also had my lunch in the garden, but there was a stiff breeze and I went indoors for a hot cup of tea!
I fancied pancakes for tea this evening, got quite a stock of fresh eggs - our friend’s hens are being very productive.
