Saturday: Mahonia “Charity” ...

Another day of pleasant weather, mild, early sunshine and the barest whisper of a breeze.
Heated up my “pickling brew” for the pickled onions: cider vinegar, tablespoon of dark honey and a handful of pickling spice, poured onto yesterday’s onions tightly packed into 2 large jars.
Sat outdoors peeling and preparing another batch of onions for pickling.
Made prawn curry for me and chicken curry for MrD, who went off for a motorbike ride around the island whilst I found some nice programs on S4C iPlayer.
It went dark quickly this afternoon and is very mild this evening - 10°C at 7pm!
