Culvert collection

Hopefully the leaves will continue to spill out and not clog the culvert! A lot of water runs off the hill beside the property near this culvert, and a few years ago, the runoff was so heavy that the road was washed out. That danger was corrected by the addition of this and a few other culverts to redirect the water.
I had planned a walk at Xwaaqwum today, but it was so blustery that I decided it wasn't a good day to walk through the forest. I enjoyed one of my other road routes instead. Still watching the US election and feeling more hopeful today for a Biden/Harris victory.
Kalyn's volleyball team is having an inter squad game live on FaceBook tonight. We're looking forward to watching. We'd love to be going over to watch a real game like we did pre-Covid. Hopefully next fall!
