Let there be Light

I’m inordinately chuffed at fixing this light! One or two problems fitting a new transformer into a space that was made for something smaller but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with the dexterous, if dodgy, use of a sharp chisel. No sooner had I finished than a parcel of new light-bulbs arrived; unneeded of course, they can go straight into the attic where I’ll no doubt find the missing transformer as I’m putting them away.
Otherwise, made lentil soup, steamed the second Christmas pud, took an excursion to the off-license and stocked up on Weissbier, coached the goldfish into finally eating, caught up with folk at the Friday quiz, kept up a regular check on the election result. That last one was wearing me out!
