Law-breakers
JJ and I set off to walk up to the village and around the park this morning, but stopped at the bottom of the avenue to watch this giant of a sprayer. I've added an extra of it being packed away ready for the road journey back to the farm.
After a circuit of the park we cut through the churchyard, where I spotted a fox, which in turn spotted me and did a runner, then headed back into the village and out over the ridge before cutting back down the hill to cross through the fields and home.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, we caught up with our close friends, who had walked around Stevington and were heading home, but had stopped to converse with a family who had purchased their last house.
As it is J's birthday today we were invited back to theirs to sit in the garden for birthday cake and to open the two bottles of whisky he'd received as presents. I know, I know, we were breaking the law, but we're very old and forgetful. especially after a whisky or two. Anyway I know you won't tell anyone, so it's just between the two of us.
