Not only has carbon fibre become the material of choice for road bikes but it has enabled designers to produce aero tubing that saves riders valuable watts and ultimately enables them to cycle faster. This frame (well not this actual one, but the same model) has been ridden to victory at the Tour De France by Team Sky. My son, who races on it, says ‘it’s a weapon’!
