Drops all over the garden

A few days ago, I warned those looking at my pages that this might happen! The early flowers are beginning to appear in profusion, and these harbingers of Spring are too beautiful to ignore, and an irresistible temptation to a photographer.

Just over a year ago, I showed a clump of snowdrops that had come up on some waste land near our home. Now, the snowdrops in our own garden appear to have multiplied considerably, without our active intervention (except replanting when clusters of bulbs got dug up).

What a happy quirk of nature, because the little flowers do add a drop of happiness and cheer to life.
