Remembrance

Sunday 8th November was Remembrance Sunday and I watched the pre-recorded service from my own church in the morning before going out later in the day for a wander up to the local war memorial.

I'm not from these parts, so the names and families weren't known to me. But everyone whose name was on the monument was someone's son, possibly brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, neighbour, colleague.

We will remember them and millions like them.
