Reading material

The box that was delivered today was also full of stationery items (things for my classroom and for at least one young person who cannot keep hold of his own things) but the books are the more interesting bits from the box. I am close to finishing my current 800-pager and my brain's not really up to anything too complex so detective fiction, young adult fiction and short stories for some planning all fit the bill. 

It's been a full-on Monday, covering for other folk and filling in the gaps which is likely to be the pattern for the week. Bailey's going to have company tomorrow; I'm hoping you won't get in their way too much.
