Remembrance

Our socially distanced Remembrance Service took place today, a lot different from last year but you don’t need crowds to pay your respects and Remember all those who gave all.

Thirty Tribute Bearers, a Padre, Bugler, a Parade Marshal and onlookers at a distance. A healthy smattering of Veterans who just by chance happened to be taking their daily exercise, smartly dressed, took the opportunity to lay their own tributes after the main service had been completed.

The whole event was streamed live onto social media and broadcast live on local radio. Its always good to meet up with Veterans, whatever the circumstances, but today is a special day for all of us.

Home to a roast dinner and a family Zoom, settling back into the Lockdown routine.
