It was nice to have a lie in this morning.

I went for a walk up Rivington this afternoon with Pat. I took my swim stuff with me as I planned to have a swim in the Italian lake. Unfortunately, the water level was quite low so I didn’t go in. It was a good walk though.

At the top of the Pike I bumped into a work colleague (Kate Ayres) from many years ago when I worked in the school. We had a good chat. It was so clear we could see Blackpool Tower in the distance.
