Apples

We visited 2 garden centres this morning in the hope of buying some Tete a Tete daffodil bulbs but all sold out in both, but we did buy some others, probably a little late to plant but better late than never.
 
We also bought these lovely looking apples and mandarins and I made an apple cake*  not with these rosy apples though but with some lovely windfall cooking ones from a friend.  Cake is made with gluten free flour and it looked a bit strange when it came out of the oven, more like a pudding than a cake …………  but the proof of the pudding will definitely be in the eating??!
