Good Day
It was lovely this morning - with quite a hard frost.
But the frost was receeding rapidly when SWMBO, No1 son, future daughter-in-law and I headed out for a kilt fitting.
All went well and the price for two weeks hire is pretty damned reasonable.
The only unreasonable bit is the fact that it is me who is having to take the stuff in my luggage allowance (just as well I am not having to take mine too).
I like the seats in the shop and they are actually quite comfortable.
Afternoon saw SWMBO and I taking the Cygnet out while his mother went out for coffee.
As usual he wanted to go to the train station - but we took him to the one at the Gyle where he could see more.
What a state the tram tracks are in ........... if they haven't been eaten away by rust before one actually runs on them I will be amazed.
I wanted to get a shot of a train in motion - but the light levels were so high and the speed so slow into and out of the station it proved almost impossible.
A shot from above was also not on the cards as the Cygnet insisted on standing at the window to watch.
What a sight he was on the drive home sitting in the back of the car with a carton of juice in one hand, jam doughnut in the other hand, jam all over his face and a huge grin on his face ........... a happy chap.
