Pancake Art

Our activity today took pancakes to a whole new level.

First we taught our Thai friends how to make pancake batter. Then we added food coloring and used bottles to draw designs in a hot pan. After one side was cooked, we flipped 'em and gave them another minute. Of course we had plenty of toppings too for the final touches.

Before the night was over, we had eaten pancakes in the shape of the world, a robot, an elephant, strawberries, a teddy bear, an angry bird, Sponge Bob, and lots of other creative designs.
