Here we go again...

A tale of two construction sites... and the promise that this would never happen again. 

The two sites are almost exactly three years apart but less than a hundred metres distant one from the other. Once again my in-tray holds complaints from residents who have had mud thrown up from the road by passing traffic, and striking them. Only last week the Barratts Homes project manager expressed his dismay to the site manager, after previous incidents were reported.

It does feel like we are constantly pushing water uphill. Promises of on-site wheel washing (required in the permission) generally resolve down to a man with a leaky hose... 

It feels pointless to complain again... but of course I will.
