Squashed!

You maybe can't see on the photo but one my leg of my specs is all bent because I just sat on them!
I'll have to phone Boot's and make an appointment to see if they can fix them. They are my close work ones. I'm so careless with my glasses!

I didn't do a lot today, I'm a bit stuck with the quilts as I left some fabrics at the house. I just sorted all my sewing stuff out and and packed it up to take to the house as we're going back there tomorrow for a few days.
I also need to do some on line shopping and the signal on the boat is so bad it takes forever. 
We did facetime with Lucy and Amelia last night but it wasn't easy as everything we said echoed after a second or two so when they answered it sounded like we were talking over them. They were having a party - just the 2 of them and Mum + Dad and had their party dresses on.
Lucy was happy with her presents. :-)

Frank asked me for some clues for what to get me for Christmas and I said I really need new sewing scissors. Does anybody have any recommendations? I bought Wilkinson Sword earlier this year but they're already blunt! I have a pair at home which are good but don't have a make on them and I need a second pair for on the boat. There's nothing worse than scissors that don't cut!
Well, I'm sure there are lots of things worse but you know what I mean ;-)

We're going to watch a DVD now called The Seagull - no idea if it's a good one or not.
