Friday 13th

I was so thankful this morning for another bright and beautiful morning to be out in the hills with the young people and for the return of my colleague, Becci, who is far more capable of running these sessions. Today we learned several methods for working out how tall a tree is, did some blindfolded tree-hugging, walked barefoot in the mud and ended with some forest bathing. Perfect activities in which to abandon face-masks and get some perspective.

From there I had a really good mentoring session and was pleased to have some encouraging and (hopefully) helpful conversations with her. Then, as always, so joyous to be able to end our working week with three lively lunch clubs.

Wine. Log fire. Early night.
Happy weekend, everyone!
