I took mum out to do some 'essential shopping' at The Range, B n M and Marks and Spencers food hall. It filled in a couple of hours, and I came home with a few goodies from M&S for Tom and I this evening.

Tom and I met 39 years ago today, yes on Friday 13th. At the local Methodist youth disco. 

I had ham shank, he had duck followed by lemon torte for dessert. We were too stuffed to eat the little pre prepared French cheese board from M&S, we'l have that tomorrow.

Communication, compromise and commitment are apparently the 3 C's of a good relationship. I have no idea if this is correct or not, but we are still here :)
