Poppy Seedhead

Another damp miserable day - not raining (yet) but dark, heavy clouds casting a gloom (on top of all the other gloom)….

My camera didn’t even come out of my pocket on my morning walk…and I was forced into the garden for an emergency blip this afternoon.

In the end, I quite liked this poppy seedhead with the little pockets of water on top.

I used my macro lens - but there was no chance of focus stacking as the plant was blowing about in the wind. Took a couple of dozen shots to get this one reasonably sharp shot. Some shots had half a subject and some none at all as it waved back and forth!

Food delivery due later - no frozen peas or sugar coming!
