Rustic

A trip to the shop first thing and a bit of turning after.

I have mentioned before that I quite like making slightly 'rustic' pieces - they add an extra challenge.
Small pieces are also a challenge because you can't put as much pressure on them with the jaws in the chuck holding it which means it is more likely to leave the game at speed (quite often in pieces). Also without really small specialist tools things can go wrong very quickly.
So I thought I would take some pictures of some pieces made in the last week or two with a ruler in the shot to give a better idea.
