Not Silly Saturday

Back to a foggy and gloomy start to the day, and then some rain. Still dull, but the rain had cleared up by afternoon, so against my better judgement I decided to walk along to the garden centre. It was rammed as I suspected it might be, and nobody was trying to put any space between themselves and anybody else - the staff were commenting on it. I just wanted to look for a small tree, but decided it was too risky to stay long. Met B & P and family on my way out - as B commented - “it’s like Covid City”! The rest of the garden centre hardly had a soul in sight! Apparently the tills were rammed too, and the staff opened the side gate to let us non-purchasers escape! I know it isn’t the official date for Silly Saturday as I missed that, but I was amused by the animal and aerial decorations around the Christmas shop!
