Former Corner Shop

The parapet says A. Fritterer, Basketmaker, 1888, but the ghost signs advertising icy cold soft drinks are from the building’s days as a corner grocery. Several windows have been bricked in, including one next to the door.

I would have liked the small girl in the pale blue T-shirt to cross in front, but instead she waited politely until I took the photo.
