Kitchen Camp Fire

Unbelievable, our second power cut in a week, apparently an unrelated fault at a different power exchange. Started at 0800 but unlike last time when they put a quick fix in within the hour, this time 4 hours in and still no power! Thank goodness it’s not a work day though I do need to get into my laptop later.
Also thank goodness for the gas hob which enabled us to boil water for hot drinks and dry fry bread to make toast.
Realise we are not well kitted out for power cuts. Have already ordered a hob top kettle from Amazon for future use and we need a portable radio and some candles. Hopefully it’s fixed before dark!
