'Curly Red'

I'm glad I kept the label for this plant .... Curly Red I can remember but not the botanical name Leucothoe Axillaris.

I bought the very small plant from the local supermarket at the beginning of the lockdown in March and it has certainly grown. Many plants are dead or dying but this ball of curly red and green leaves still looks good.

The raindrops which have fallen all day are an added enhancement on the petals but not in accumulated pools on the earth.
