Sunshine on Leith

On a half day today to take the school girls' football team to the first round of the Summer Cup down on Leith Links.

We all met at the school to have our pack lunch before travelling down to Leith. What a beautiful day with bright sunshine as we travelled North.

The haar was on the Links and the temp dropped, we could see both set of posts so game on. The girls were very nervous and this showed, up stepped Eco daughter to strike the first goal which took a deflection to go in. You could see the side relax and went on to play some good football and not letting a goal in, they managed to score a couple more to win. Next round soon and all off on Easter holidays.

Came home to tidy up the garage and sort out the bikes. Popped off to the allotment to drop the tatties off, hopefully plant tomorrow. Put some of the tomatoes in the greenhouse.
