Little acorns

I had a busy day at work so only got outside for 10 minutes to top up the bird feeders and have a quick wander.  This year seems to have been sooo good for berries and acorns.  Lots of the acorns have little roots starting to grow, maybe I will pot on one or two.
 
I had a good day at work and got on with a few things.  We have four weeks until the Christmas break, I think it will be a busy run in but I guess it will go quickly. Currently that is also the end of my contract, hopefully they will get sorted and extend me... at least for a little while longer.
 
I have been having a look for some camera tutorials, have not really found anything helpful as yet so might resort to reading the manual for my camera.  It often does not quite do what I want and am sure I should be able to make it do more.
