The food chain

If we don't eat them, somebody else will.

It's been another nice mild day and little wind.  I'm waiting for the next miserable day to arrive (forecast for tomorrow) to embark on C Cake making and so more eggs are necessary.  After taking yet more recycling to the recycling bins at the local supermarket I ventured up to the farm - wot, no eggs in the trailer so I drove up to see J and told her.  Lots of eggs ready for boxing up in her house so I helped her with that and after choosing a dozen of the freshest and the brownest for me, I took the rest back to refill the trailer -

For my troubles J gave me wages of a lovely large net of home grown carrots - Mr HB's job for tomorrow preparing said carrots for the freezer!
