Morning swim

Yes it's an industrial bridge carrying the A66 over a jetty on Bassenthwaite. You can't see the jetty because it's submerged in about 2 feet of water.
Once you get out under the bridge there are fantastic views of Skiddaw. We swam in pairs doing about 700m in total. The water was calm and it was marvellous. Porridge and several cups of tea warmed me up afterwards. I wondered home through Uldale towards Dalston to soak up the panoramic views.
I filled a bin (green garden bin) with leaves after lunch, blooming leaves, I don't even have any trees.
