Thursday: Mahonia & Bumblebee

After a night of howling gales and pouring rain we woke up to a calmer day, rain eased off too and the weather was settled enough for MrD to walk down to the beach.
He'd taken his van to the local garage earlier, something needs sorting ... job done by late afternoon!
He then drove my car to the local tip/recycling centre in order to dispose of the old microwave, he wasn't allowed in, needed to phone local council office for an appointment and a reference number, which he did - maybe a job for me tomorrow?
Today’s blip was just going to be of the Mahonia with it’s amazing yellow flowers BUT there was some buzzing and a huge bumblebee was kind enough to pose ... thank you :-) x
