Hi Street!

My satnav always stresses “High” when announcing Porty High Street. I always think of the AI that marshals all those sound files into audible signposts.
Today was a busy day with a dash along this shopping strip to do our “messages”. I love that Scottish version of errands. Back home for two important Zoom meetings - one a Board meeting and the second where I wore a tie for the first time since February! I do wonder if ties may be another casualty of this pandemic?
For the time being Edinburgh remains in Covid Level 3 and the local shops are open and all doing a brisk trade.
The Christmas tree is installed in Porty Central. The decorations, like this one, have been fixed to some of the street lights. It was cold enough to snow today. Christmas is only 36 days away!
