The Day's End

I was in Dundee today for a meeting. I had a great ride up on the train which from Edinburgh goes across the Forth Rail Bridge and the Firth of Forth and winds its way along the Fife coast with amazing views back across the water to Edinburgh. The journey completes as you travel over the Firth of Tay on the rail bridge.

As I left Dundee at the end of the day and returned across the Tay Bridge, the sun was setting on the horizon. It sent a shaft of orange light across the sky and back lit the distant mountains. It was all that seperated the sea and sky which had almost merged into one. A beautiful end to a lovely sunny day.
