Many footpaths border the military training area near Stapleford on my walk yesterday. Less than impressed by some of the styles on public rights of way needing me to lift the dogs which are small and nimble over them. One even had branches wedged in the gaps and wires across.


The training area border is marked by a circle of red flags. Flag No 6 can faintly be seen in the distance in the extra. The sign in the extra  was in a cluster of approx 6 more conventional military warning signs.


The house in the main picture has been boarded up with metal sheets and wire mesh. I made sure that the risk indicator dial was set at minimum risk (ie blue) as in the main picture. I also passed flag 7 on the walk and drove past 8 so at least 6 more to observe then!
