Lunaria (Honesty)

A dull morning. the rain is just starting as I head up to the café to get my Friday coffee and cake.

On the murky lunchtime walk I pass through the woods. the nettles have shrunk back and the Honesty plants are now in seed. I blipped the flowers in May here. The low light seems amplified as it shines through the seed pods. Now you can see where the plant got its Latin name came from. Lunaria.. 

The weather doesn't clear up in the afternoon. The weather is very dull and breezy. Instead of an after work bike ride, there's still a lot of mud in the mudguard, I opt for an after work walk. A quiet start to the weekend.
