Redfern Corner
I searched the address and found that at one time this small wedge of land was a fruit and vegetable kiosk. It was cheaply, possibly illegally constructed of corrugated iron and timber, with shutters opening to the street. A man in a 1940s three-piece suit appears in one photo; a woman in a fur-collar coat in another. They seem very well-dressed for what was then a poor area.
