First snow

 A cold blast driving down between high pressure over southern Germany and a low moving down the west coast of Italy brought the first snow to Mt Falterona on the Tuscany-Romagna border.

The house sits right up into the blast and seemed to tremble with the force of the north-easterly gale in the night.
